I think it’s no secret that I love feathers almost as much as I love all of nature. This was one of my favorite feathers to paint, as I strayed away from the golds and moved into the sparkling silvers. The glittering effect gives the feather something special that’s hard to describe, almost like the sparkle of the sun on pure, white snow. This would be great for a teen’s bedroom, or a house with an overall bohemian feel.
