With all the snow piled up outside my window as I write this, I could really, really use a trip to the beach. Winter is my favorite time to visit sandy beaches, especially the Gulf Coast of Florida, with their warm, clear water, minimal waves, and sea shells for days. I used to make a habit of visiting my sister in Florida every fall/winter. At some point, I stopped doing that. Kids got older. I got busier. I get mom traveling alone without kids to a solitude-like atmosphere GUILT.
But you can experience the beach guilt free with this set. Two 4″ x 12″ carefully crafted, mirrored images on canvas. Painted lovingly with shimmering acrylic paint, waves created with resin, and modeling paste with some sand added in, this would be perfect in a small space. Maybe as a set in a bathroom or hallway!
