Description

Something about peacocks brings about a sense of magic and mystery. They are beautiful creatures, and their feathers are one of the most prized. With this painting, I used a pouring technique similar to a dutch pour, but rather than blowing out the paint, I used a small, beaded chain to drag the feather off the canvas. Then I used strips of wax paper and a paint brush to give the feather an appearance of having a million little wisps.

This 20×10 painting is an original, coated with two layers of resin, and would stand out in any room you’d like to put it in.
